The Performance of Clay-based Biomass Briquette Stove with Three Geometry Shape Variations

چکیده

Biomass briquette stove is a cooking tool that still widely used by the people of interior South Sulawesi. Even in urban areas, it not uncommon to find their use because ease obtaining briquettes and its relatively good efficiency. This study aims determine best performance biomass from three types clay material shapes different configurations geothermal variations. The variations geometric shape are cylindrical, rectangular hexagonal using coconut shell charcoal honeycomb with an inner diameter 15 mm outer 65 height 45 mm. uniqueness this addition sleeve 180mm stove's combustion chamber as heat insulation so process can be more perfect. test results show presence flat surface on wall will accelerate loss compared cylindrical surface. line which highest rate occurs shape, then six-square last shape. Furthermore, concluded superior two terms flame temperature, ability boil water thermal efficiency 798°C, 30 liters 73.66%, respectively.
